Upload your media files to CloudStudio by either dragging them into the left pane, or clicking the upload button. The asset(s) will be added to the project, and automatically synced to the cloud.

Export the video

Once you are happy with your edits, export the final video, by clicking on the "Export video" button, on the top right. This will open the export window which looks like this:

You can choose a name for the export, the quality, and if you want to receive an email upon completion. Press "Launch export" to start the export on the cloud. Once the export is finished, you can share the video, or download it to post on your preferred venues.

Frequently asked questions

How do I turn a video 90 degrees?

Upload your video to CloudStudio. The 'Rotation' option is on the rigth pane, seek the bar to 90 to rotate 90 degrees clockwise or counterclockwise. Finally, click 'Export video' to export your edited video.

Why is my video sideways?

Smartphones typically have built-in orientation sensors that can identify the device's orientation and determine if a video is filmed in portrait or landscape mode. However, occasionally, the phone might not adjust its orientation as you begin recording, resulting in a sideways video. Thankfully, this issue is effortlessly resolved using CloudStudio's rotate video tool.

Is it better to film vertically or horizontally?

Select the orientation of your video depending on the content you are capturing and the platform you are posting it on. Opt for a horizontal orientation, known as landscape mode, if the video is intended for YouTube or a Facebook post. Use a vertical orientation, or portrait mode, if the video is designed for Instagram Stories or Facebook Live.
